“Oslo is forest and fjord, Oslo is straight and curly, Oslo is granite grey and linden green. Oslo is posh houses and social buildings, Oslo is provincial and trendy, Oslo is young and old. Oslo is eclectic, complex and it is its beauty.
OUW organises free walks in different parts of the city. Architectural and landscape projects orientated, we will focus foremost on the materiality and the forms of the city. We will visit streets, squares, buildings, parks etc. We will talk about urban fabric, architecture, landscape, art, ecology, geology and much more. We will see the ordinary and the extraordinary, the well-known and the unknown, the ugliness and the beauty.
We are two French landscape architects working and living in Oslo since January 2017. During this first year in Norway’s capital, we fell in love with the city. Our profession provides us precious tools to describe and to decrypt places. Through urban walks, we are pleased to share our acknowledge and to learn more in a participative way.
No matter if you are just passing through or Oslo-born, come with us to explore and see the city differently!”
